Buns of Steel Isn't Just About Buns Anymore!Who hasn’t heard of Buns of Steel? Buns of Steel has to be one of the most popular home workouts ever. It’s not all just about Buns of Steel either. There’s Abs of Steel, Legs, Hips, and Thighs of Steel, Arms and Abs of Steel, Buns of Steel, Buns of Steel Pregnancy and Post-Pregnancy workouts, and others in the popular series as well. The Buns of Steel series came out in the 1980s and these original workouts are now available on DVD; some complete with thong workout wear and big bangs! Fashion trends aside, these workouts do what they say they do, I can attest to that! The Buns of Steel collection is a great set for beginners and the advanced fitness-minded. The routines are easy to follow and the music selection is tolerable, which is a bonus for any workout video! Looking at my video collection, my wife has Buns of Steel, Buns of Steel 2, Buns of Steel 3, Beyond Buns of Steel, and various other thigh and butt-slimming videos. For a home exercise routine to be beneficial, it must be done regularly and diligently, at least three times a week. The Buns of Steel workouts are from thirty to forty-five minutes in length, and incorporate a warm up, cool down, and stretching in every routine. Hand weights are used for Arms and Abs of Steel to tone and strengthen faster and to build a lean appearance. I’m sure no one would object to losing a few inches in those places that are starting to jiggle just a little too much. Working out in the comfort of your home for three half hour sessions at least three times a week is a good start, add that to walking, bicycling, stair climbing, or other regular aerobic activity and you’re well on your way to achieving your fitness goals. Keeping your exercise routine varied with different activities will also keep you from getting bored and then not exercising at all. Get all of the Buns of Steel workouts and have fun getting fit! You owe it to yourself to try Buns of Steel workouts to get those gorgeous buns and awesome abs that you so much deserve. If you’re new to exercising don’t feel bad if you have to start out slow; your muscles need to get used to being stretched and used in new and different ways. It’s all good! Just take your time and do a little bit more each time you work through the routines. The Buns of Steel instructors have decades of years of experience and are certified fitness trainers as well. You will not be disappointed with the results! Buns of Steel videos and DVDs are available online, at sporting goods retailers, or from most any discount store. So get your buns off the couch! |
Workout Tip
Be sure to start out your exercise regimen slowly and build-up your endurance. A marathon runner trains by taking a first step and then increasing mileage each week. The same is true for exercise. Start with 5 or 10 minutes the first couple of times you exercise. (And if you can only do a minute or two this first time, that is alright as well. The important thing is to start slowly.) Then, over the course of weeks, gradually increase the amount of time you exercise and the intensity of your workout. This will help prevent injury and help stave off discouragement.
