Jump Rope Exercise Tip
Like most exercise programs, jumping rope is no different. Be sure to start out slowly and build-up your endurance. A marathon runner trains by taking a first step and then increasing mileage each week. The same is true for jump rope exercise. Start with 5 or 10 minutes the first couple of times you jump rope. (And if you can only do a minute or two this first time, that is alright as well. The important thing is to start slow.) Then, over the course of weeks, gradually increase the amount of time and the speed of your jumping rope exercise. This will help prevent injury and help stave off discouragement.
